Triple Base Gallery: Kyle Mock - Do Not Disturb.

Kyle Mock constructs a 3-D version of his typically 2-D art, and to highten the ruse, provides viewers with ersatz 3-D glasses, the gist of which, I suppose, is to accentuate the illusion of stepping into and then walking around inside a painting. It works.

Kearny Street Workshop: Recovering Activist's Night Market.

Comment: Fundraiser for Activist Imagination, a ten-month project to "create new works that envision responses to the past, present and future of Asian American activism" from the perspectives of Christine Wong Yap, Donna Keiko Ozawa, Bob Hsiang. While there, activist diagnostician Dr. Crank (aka Donna Ozawa), in a fit of hocus pocus therapy, diagnoses me as a #1 with the directive to "locate yourself, commit to this time, and plant seeds." She proceeds to bequeath me a work of crankable art designed to assist in the attainment of my activist ambitions.
